JOB profile

1 Erection & Installation

• Supervise mechanical and electrical erection activities at site.
• Ensure installation as per GA drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for timely completion.
• Monitor alignment, leveling, and assembly of equipment.

2 Commissioning & Testing

• Perform pre-commissioning checks and system validation.
• Execute trial runs and commissioning of plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues during commissioning and stabilize operations.
• Ensure plant performance meets design parameters.

3 Site Coordination

• Act as a single point of contact at site for E&C activities.
• Coordinate with design team, service team, and customer representatives.
• Ensure availability of tools, manpower, and materials.

4 Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports (DPR).
• Prepare commissioning reports and handover documents.
• Record deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation of checklists and test reports.

5 Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety standards and PPE usage.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks (TBT).
• Identify and mitigate site hazards.
• Comply with company and statutory safety norms.

6 Customer Interaction

• Provide technical guidance to customers during commissioning.
• Conduct basic operator training.
• Ensure smooth plant handover to service/operations team.
• Address customer concerns during project execution.

7 Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Coordinate with design/service teams for resolution.
• Provide post-commissioning support if required.

Qualifications & Experience:-

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering (Preferred)
• Mechanical Engineering may be considered based on relevant E&C experience
• 2–8 years of experience in erection and commissioning of industrial plants (Asphalt, Concrete, Crushers, etc.)
