Role & Responsibilities: 

 

The Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing performs the major functions listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change


• Preparation & finalization of Sales & Expense Budgets for the territory.
• Achievement of the Sales Budget - equipment, spare parts, retrofits, Service current accounts and develop new accounts to meet sales targets through sales presentations and utilisation of support services
• Keep track of projects awarded in the Region – NHAI, State Road PWD , Corporation & PMGSY.
• Establish contacts with key customer personnel at sites to ensure high level of customer satisfaction on the aftermarket support and improve sale of spare parts & retrofit.
• Hard follow up with customer’s advances and commercials formalities till the submission of FDI,Accounts receivable / C Forms follow ups.
• Maintain good relationship with Strategic Customers.
• Improving on the market share – market intelligence
• Follow up with customer and our service team for erection and commissioning.
• Coordinate with service manager and spare parts personal to provide aftermarket support to customers.
• Any other jobs assigned by Regional Head /Superior management
• Search for business potential in the given market area
• Establish contacts with source of information on business potential
• Generate business inquires, create new customers
• Go after business inquiries, submit techno-commercial offers, close orders
• Do all commercial activities related sales
• Do sales process in CRM, update sales activities in CRM
• Co-ordinate with service team to render required service to customers
• Know the competition, initiate action to counter competition
• Keep records of all sales related documents
• Provide market inputs, sales inputs and assist superiors to prepare reports
• Meet sales and assigned targets in time
